My name is Rachael Ward (previously Rachael Ambrose) and I set up Rachael Ward Associates to offer clients a highly professional trade mark service. Our aim is to offer a service that sets us apart: responsive, proactive, and diligent in our approach. We combine legal expertise with commercial acumen and creative problem-solving.

I work with a number of professional associates around the globe - together we deal with all aspects of trade mark issues on behalf of clients. We work closely as a team, offering a flexible service that can be tailored according to your requirements.

My background and qualifications
I am a law graduate, and have been providing advice on trade mark issues since 1994. I also studied a postgraduate Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP Law School.

My training was at Clifford Chance LLP, one of the world's largest and most reputable law firms. During my ten years' service with them I worked for a number of high-profile and prestigious brand owners, assisting clients through complex trade mark issues.

I am a qualified Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA).

The most up-to-date thinking
I have contributed to the UK Trade Mark Handbook, published articles and spoken at educational seminars. I have tutored, been an examiner and I have served on the ITMA Council. In short, I have always played an active role beyond my work with clients, to ensure I am up-to-date with the latest trade mark issues.

I am a current member of the Classification Sub-committee, as part of the International Trade Mark Association.
